I had the honor of designing BlackPsychiatryDirectory.com, a groundbreaking initiative led by the Black Psychiatrists of America and the Community Health Equity Alliance. As the first directory of its kind, the website was created to address a critical gap in access to culturally competent mental health care by connecting the African American community with Black mental health providers across the country. With no existing brand guidelines in place, I was responsible for establishing the visual direction of the platform, including selecting the color palette, typography, and overall aesthetic. I designed a clean, intuitive, and mobile-responsive website that prioritizes accessibility and ease of use. The result is a powerful digital resource that not only uplifts underserved communities but also supports mental health equity on a national scale.
